The Lighthouse Bike and Scooter Muster!

This program is currently at capacity and has a hold on accepting donations of bikes and scooters.

This Greater Shepparton Lighthouse Project initiative sees unused bikes and scooters rounded up and given a second life. Donated items are refurbished, repaired and made ready for their next adventure!

Repair

Donated scooters and bikes are repaired by young people participating in the Pit-Stop program. Pit-Stop is a Lighthouse initiative providing hands-on learning for disengaged youth.

Recycle

Restored scooters and bikes are delivered to schools and individuals in our region enabling young people to get outdoors and be active. Bikes and scooters also provides the opportunity for greater independence and can assist with accessing employment.

Scooters and bikes can be dropped to the following businesses.

  • My Ride: Shop 2b, 8005 Melbourne Road, Kialla
  • Leading Edge Cycles: 15 Edward Street, Shepparton Vic
