About Pit Stop

Pit Stop is a strengths-based re-engagement program offering young people the opportunity to work on small engines and cars under the guidance of volunteer industry professionals.

Pit Stop aims to increase work and life skills, improve mental health and increase connection for young people within the community while better connecting them to opportunities through bridging social capital. This community initiative also works with at-risk young people as an early intervention model to re-engage them at school.

“Students who are involved at pitstop have better attendance at school” School Principal.

Bike & Scooter Muster

The Muster involves rounding up unused bikes and scooters and giving them a second life. Donated items are refurbished, repaired and made ready for their next adventure!

Repaired bikes and scooters are delivered to schools and individuals in our region, and provide opportunities for young people to get outdoors and be active, and be independent.

The Bike and Scooter Muster is currently at capacity and has a hold on accepting donations.

We thank My Ride, Leading Edge and Southern Cross Austereo for supporting this program.
