L2P volunteers required

Vic Roads requires all young people to have completed 120 hours of driving hours on their 'L' plates before taking their driving test. For young people without access to a vehicle or an available adult, this can be a challenge and a barrier to accessing job interviews, work, sporting commitments and study.

Lighthouse is partnering with Berry Street's L2P program, and together we are building a pool of volunteer driving mentors to help young people get their necessary driving hours.

Volunteers need to undertake a one-day training and will be provided with the use of an L2P vehicle. This is a flexible volunteering opportunity and a great way to support young people in our community. If you are interested please get in touch with our Volunteer and Partnerships Broker, Kathy Fuller on 0404 091 758 or email kfuller@gslp.com.au
Our Facebook community is a powerful contributor in helping reach more volunteers. Give this post a share to help us grow our volunteer network.
