Hundreds of Volunteers to Assist our Work

The strength of our community is our social capital and can do approach. Once we connect with the volunteers, they generally remain active for several years.

Goulburn Valley Water started supporting St Georges Road Primary School with a junior reading program. This was extended to include - Grade 6 Leadership, Grade 6 Career Development and immersive Emergency Response Management scenarios. One staff member organised a book drive donating close to 500 books to the school and the school supported GVW’s Water Aid initiative raising the profile of the work undertaken by WaterAid globally.  The students worked on creating toilet solutions for a floating school on Tonle Sap in Cambodia.
