Lighthouse is incredibly grateful to the APCO Foundation for their recent generous donation of $5,000 in fuel vouchers to support our Family Haven program in Mooroopna.
This support means we can fuel our community buses, providing essential transport for our families, many of whom would otherwise be isolated due to limited public transport. Thanks to APCO, these families can:
- Connect with other families and volunteers
- Access food and material aid
- Receive referrals to critical services, including family violence and housing support
Since 2020, Family Haven has supported over 492 families, offering a welcoming space to relax, play and build connections.
At Lighthouse, we believe in the power of community—and this is a perfect example of what’s possible when local organisations come together.
