Since the floods Lighthouse has distributed funds and necessities to the value of over $138,000 directly to community members who need a hand to get back on their feet. This includes vouchers, food, clothing and furniture and more. On top of that, we have also redistributed donated goods including several cars that, thanks to Lighthouse Pit Stop staff Chris, Ross and Mat, have been serviced and delivered this week.

At Lighthouse we are all about collective impact, that is community helping community. Whether it's volunteering, donating, supporting or sharing, every act makes a difference in somebody else’s life and in turn helps to make our community a better place.

The Lighthouse team says a big thank you and acknowledges our many wonderful volunteers, donors, partners and supporters who have all contributed to helping our community recover from the floods. There is still considerable support required by those impacted by the floods and Lighthouse will continue to work with our community in 2023 to assist with the recovery process.
