Pit Stop Project Coordinator - (0.6 FTE)

The Project Coordinator Pit Stop will oversee the successful running of the GSLP Pit Stop program with young people from across Greater Shepparton. The role will develop and maintain Pit Stop programming, scheduling and ensure daily operations. The role will effectively engage with a diverse range of stakeholders including young people, teachers, education settings, community groups, industry partners and employment pathways.
The role will ensure all outcomes of participants align with Pit Stop core business of supporting student learning, increasing student knowledge, and understanding of work opportunities in the region. This role will embed the Life Links framework into the Pit Stop program, promoting successful participant outcomes for further education, employment and personal development.

Life-Links Coordinator - (0.8 FTE)

The Life Links Coordinator will facilitate the Life Links program at Greater Shepparton Secondary College (GSSC) (Hawdon Campus and Nurtja Campus), OLLY and Pit Stop to support students who are at risk of disengaging from education to improve school attendance and participation. Involvement in the Life-Links program focuses upon capacity building and coaching to promote reengagement in education and further learning. Life-Links supports students who are considered tier two students; students that attend school but have inconsistent classroom attendance. Life-Links uses trauma-informed practice principles to provide young people opportunities to thrive across education, employment, social connections, health and well-being, housing and living skills and capacity building.

Support Worker– Family Haven - (Casual or Part Time - negotiable)

This role will support the work undertaken at the Family Haven site based in Mooroopna and will act to engage children and will engage with and support the work of volunteers and assist with any necessary tasks to ensure effective delivery, including overall planning and co-ordination, communication, and compliance. All activities will be undertaken in keeping with legislative requirements and the policies and procedures, protocols and guidelines of the Greater Shepparton Lighthouse Project and the Family Haven.

The Greater Shepparton Lighthouse Project (Lighthouse) is a not-for-profit organisation that strives to build capability in our young people and families, unlocking their potential to participate and contribute to the prosperity of Greater Shepparton.

We are seeking community-minded, change-makers to join our Board of Directors. Successful candidates will play a role in shaping our strategic direction, ensuring effective governance, and overseeing financial stewardship.

We invite expressions of interest from community minded individuals with skills in law, philanthropy, or governance.
