Laptops with Love

The Laptops with Love program grew from learning many of our families had limited computer access during lockdown with some households often ‘sharing’ the one device.

The solution has been to join forces with four local organisations. Goulburn Valley Water and Goulburn Murray Water have donated their 'retired' laptops, Data Parts and Advance Computing have then cleaned and prepared these devices at no cost.

The program was launched at the end of 2021 with 2 laptops being issued and in 2022 we will continue to distribute the 100 laptops that have been made available. Recipients will include students as well as parents who want to further their education and job opportunities with online learning.

Our Laptops with Love initiative illustrates the collective impact approach of the Lighthouse movement and the power of partnerships.
